Congratulations to Caroline Young
Lycare is proud to announce that, after many years of dedicated service to the Forest of Dean community, Caroline Young has been officially honoured for her work as a Benefits Adviser and has received the MBE. This recognition is richly deserved, and everyone at Lycare would like to place on record our sincere gratitude and congratulations for her tireless work and commitment. Well done, and thank you!
WELCOME
Welcome to Lydcare - focusing on the community.
At Lydcare our purpose is to identify and develop resources that will provide practical help for those in need within the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. We are focused on providing Transport, Wellbeing and Benefits Advice and a Lunch Club. We are also able to help signpost people to enable them to obtain advice and support so please call and we will help in any way we can.
TESTIMONIALS
“ I have found Lydcare to be a reliable alternative to taxis or, sometimes, better than NHS transport for attending appointments.”

John Smith, Lydbrook
“As a volunteer driver with Lydcare, I find great joy in connecting with our community. The scenic drives through the stunning Forest of Dean are a bonus, but it’s the people I meet and the service I provide that makes this experience truly rewarding. It’s fulfilling to give back to our community, and I encourage anyone interested in helping others to consider joining our team.”
“Due to the help and expertise of Caroline Young we were finally awarded a benefit, which made it possible for me to receive a Carers Allowance for my Partner."
