Funding

Lydcare has to rely on funding in order to provide its services to the community.  The Roger Carew-Hunt Fund provides a degree of security but is not to be considered as a primary source of income, as it is treated as protected funds and only available for specific projects within the community . Regular  funding comes from Gloucestershire Community Transport  and donations from within the community  includes Lydbrook, Mitcheldean and Westbury on Severn Parish Councils, as well as personal contributions.

 

The Trustees seek further funding on an annual basis from  a range of sources where they  fulfill the criteria . This in the short term is adequate but as operating costs rise  and with increased demand on the services there is a need for significant funding.
